Jeudi, l’Académie française accueillait l’écrivain d’origine russe Andreï Makine, auteur du « Dictionnaire amoureux de la Russie », prix Goncourt en 1982 pour « Dans la main de l’ange ».
C’est l’académicien Dominique Fernandez qui a pris la parole pour accueillir parmi les « immortels » le plus russe des écrivains français.
« Quiconque connaît un peu la Russie sait à quel point ce pays est calomnié dans nos médias. »
« La désinformation est systématique. On ne parle que mafia, corruption, nouveaux riches. »
« Certes, ces plaies existent, en sommes-nous exempts nous-mêmes? ».
« Et puis, quelle prétention, que de vouloir appliquer le modèle démocratique de notre société à un pays trente et une fois grand comme la France (…) qui a d’autres dimensions, d’autres problèmes, d’autres coutumes que les nôtres ».
Andreï Makine a répondu lors du traditionnel discours de réception, en plaidant en faveur de « l’entente franco-russe », retraçant les liens historiques, littéraires et spirituels entre les deux pays.
Il a également condamné « la guerre fratricide orchestrée (à Kiev) par les stratèges criminels de l’Otan et leurs inconscients supplétifs européens ».
