Ces derniers jours, circulent sur les réseaux sociaux quelques photos impressionnantes d’un groupe de catholiques philippins suivant imperturbablement la messe dans une église inondée.
Les images sont réelles et ont été prises il y a quelques jours dans la chapelle de San Isidro Labrador de Pampanga, aux Philippines.
Les habitants de San Luis, Pampanga, Philippines, donnent une leçon aux catholiques du monde entier. Malgré les ravages du typhon Nona, cela ne les a pas empêchés d’aller à la messe pour célébrer le quatrième dimanche de l’Avent. La même chose est arrivée dans la ville de Masantol, Pampanga, où la foi des Philippins a brillé malgré la force destructrice de la nature. Des milliers de personnes des villages côtiers de Pampanga et Bulacan ont passé Noël dans des abris après le débordement des fleuves et des pluies torrentielles sur la région de Luzon.
