Philippe FOUSSIER devient aujourd’hui le nouveau « Grand Maître » du Grand Orient de France (GODF) après avoir été élu hier Président du Conseil de l’Ordre avec 33 voix sur 34 votants (en l’absence du Frère Michel CICILE, malade, précisent les blogs maçonniques).
Philippe Foussier (52 ans) a été initié il y a près de 25 ans et appartient à la Loge République (Paris).
Il est à noter qu’il est membre de la Fraternelle parlementaire. De 1995 à 2017, il a été rédacteur en chef de la revue Communes de France, destinée aux élus locaux. De 2005 à 2009, il a présidé le Comité Laïcité République. Diplômé de l’Ecole supérieure de journalisme (ESJ) de Paris et titulaire d’un 3e cycle en études stratégiques et politiques de défense, il a été auditeur du Centre d’études diplomatiques et stratégiques.
