La première dame du Pérou, Nadine Heredia, doit comparaitre le 11 décembre prochain devant le procureur Germán Juarez afin de répondre aux accusations de blanchissement d’argent lancées contre elle par le bureau du procureur.
Ces charges ont commencé lorsque Nadine Heredia a été accusée de blanchissement d’argent, de manipulation sur les décisions du gouvernement, d’utiliser les avions militaires à des fins politiques et de faire pression sur des anciens fonctionnaires pour qu’ils renoncent à leurs postes.
Cette enquête n’est pas nouvelle car ces charges lui ont été attribuées depuis 2005 et 2009 respectivement pour des dépenses injustifiées d’un montant de plus de 215 000 dollars, lorsque Nadine était secrétaire des relations internationales du Parti Nationaliste pendant la campagne électorale de son mari, l’actuel président Humala.
Selon les sources du procureur, le magistrat Juarez avait confirmé le rendez-vous pour le mardi 03 novembre par le biais d’une lettre recommandée, et trois jours après, le 6 novembre, il a reçu l’accusé de réception de la lettre qui fixait le rendez-vous.
Cependant, selon l’avocat de Nadine, Eduardo Roy, la première dame n’a jamais reçu telle lettre. C’est pourquoi elle a demandé que la date du rendez-vous soit différée du 11 décembre car elle veut surement bien préparer sa défense. Elle aura donc besoin de beaucoup plus de temps.
Tout devient très sombre pour la première dame car, son avocat personnel, Aníbal Quiroga, vient de renoncer à l’affaire et refuse de la défendre. Il a assuré que, dès que le procès devant le tribunal s’achève, il renoncera également au poste qu’il occupe en ce moment.
