Ce livre dénonce les crimes rituels perpétrés sur des enfants au sein de cercles mêlant financiers, jet-set, politiciens, francs-maçons et satanistes. Le sujet est sensible. L’auteur dresse la liste de personnes qui, enquêtant sur ces crimes, ont brutalement trouvé la mort, par « accident » ou par « suicide ».
Des crimes aussi horribles inspirent un tel dégoût que certains auront peine à croire qu’ils existent véritablement. Laurent Glauzy a pris la précaution de citer abondamment des sources maçonniques qui confirment les faits.
Le cas d’Aleister Crowley est très révélateur. Dans ses Confessions publiées en 1900, il affirme avoir été initié au 33ème degré de la franc-maçonnerie selon le Rite Ecossais Ancien et Accepté. Puis, dans Magick in theory and practice, au chapitre XII, ce « grand mage » sataniste avoue que, de 1912 à 1928, il a sacrifié cent-cinquante enfants par an.
En 1998, un ouvrier qui restaurait la maison londonienne de Benjamin Franklin, père de la Constitution américaine, trouva les restes de six enfants et de quatre adultes enterrés sous la demeure, au 36 Craven Street, à côte de Trafalgar Square. La grande presse britannique s’empara de l’affaire car les cadavres dataient de l’époque où Benjamin Franklin occupait les lieux, de 1757 à 1762 et de 1764 à 1775. Or Benjamin Franklin était franc-maçon et fréquentait la société sataniste The Hell Fire Club.
En 1887, la revue maçonnique Rivista della Massonaria Italiana écrivait : « La Franc-Maçonnerie considère Satan le Grand comme le maître véritable« .
Dans cet ouvrage, Laurent Glauzy examine de nombreux scandales de pédo-criminalité, certains très récents, et les relie aux sociétés secrètes.
