Le chanteur et comédien Patrick Benguigui, plus connu sous son nom de scène Patrick Bruel, a fait part au JDD de quelques-unes de ses éminentes réflexions sociétales.
Il a notamment considéré avec admiration que Simone Veil, rédactrice de la loi autorisant l’avortement, était selon lui la femme la plus emblématique.
« C’est incontestablement Simone Veil pour moi, parce que Simone Veil incarne quelque chose d’immense. On fête les 40 ans de sa loi sur l’avortement. Il y a eu un film, assez bien fait d’ailleurs avec Emmanuelle Devos que j’ai vu à la télévision et qui retraçait tout ce parcours, que j’avais suivi à l’époque moi du haut de mes 14 ans et qui m’avait vraiment interpelé à l’époque. Je me disais en voyant ce film, elle reste aujourd’hui encore une femme importante puisque les mêmes personnes qu’on voit évoluer contre cette loi et s’exprimer contre cette loi sont absolument les mêmes qui aujourd’hui se prononcent contre le mariage pour tous et les arguments sont à peu près les mêmes, et l’attitude est à peu près la même. Je trouve qu’une voix comme la sienne aujourd’hui manque un peu dans le paysage«
Mais Patrick Bruel Benguigui, visiblement en faveur du « mariage » homosexuel, se trompe.
Si Simone Veil porte la lourde responsabilité d’une loi autorisant l’avortement, elle était par contre opposée à la dénaturation du mariage, au point de participer à une « Manif pour Tous » en arborant le drapelet de circonstance !
On imagine déjà la déception de Patrick Bruel en apprenant la nouvelle ! Va-t-il changer d’égérie ?
