Etats-Unis – Patricia Manuel, devenue Patricio Manuel, est le premier boxeur transgenre à avoir disputé un combat professionnel aux Etats-Unis.
Patricia Manuel avait tenté de décrocher sa qualification pour le tournoi de boxe féminine des Jeux olympiques de Londres en 2012. Mais elle y avait renoncé suite à une blessure à une épaule. Elle avait ensuite débuté un traitement hormonal puis une opération chirurgicale afin de prendre une apparence masculine. En 2016, elle a obtenu une licence de boxeur professionnel masculin.
