Etats-Unis – Le 21 septembre, le Civic Center d’Oklahoma City devrait accueillir une « messe noire » organisée par le groupe Dakhma of Angra Mainyu, une secte sataniste. L’autorisation a été demandée par le sataniste Adam Daniels, reconnu coupable d’agression sexuelle en 2009.
L’existence de sectes satanistes est bien connue mais la nouveauté, c’est leur volonté croissante depuis quelques années de multiplier des « messes noires » dans des lieux renommés en comptant sur une indifférence complice d’autorités politiques ou universitaires.
Dans ce cas-ci, le Civic Center est la propriété de la ville d’Oklahoma et bénéficie d’un financement par une fondation dans laquelle on retrouve un élu local et le directeur d’un hôpital catholique. Il y a donc de quoi s’étonner qu’un tel lieu soit mis à disposition d’une secte sataniste pour pratiquer son rituel blasphématoire. Et ce d’autant plus que l’organisateur est Adam Daniels, un délinquant sexuel.
Adam Daniels est en relation avec Lucien Greaves (alias Doug Mesner, alias Adam Misicko), qui avait prévu d’organiser une messe noire à l’Université de Harvard (qui a finalement annulé son autorisation).
Adam Daniels et Lucien Greaves sont aussi les promoteurs d’un projet de monument dédié à Satan qu’ils veulent installer au Capitol de l’Etat d’Oklahoma.
La Ligue Catholique note que le Civic Center avait déjà par le passé accueilli un spectacle homosexuel blasphématoire. La Ligue Catholique invite ses sympathisants à protester auprès du maire d’Oklahoma City ainsi qu’auprès du conseil d’administration du Civic Center afin d’obtenir, comme à l’Université d’Harvard, que l’autorisation accordée aux satanistes soit annulée.
Mgr Edward J. Slattery a, de son côté, appelé les fidèles à prier : « Puisque le Civic Center n’a pas répondu positivement à ma demande de ne pas accueillir cet événement, dans un lieu financé par l’État, je demande aux fidèles catholiques du diocèse de Tulsa d’affronter ce blasphème par la prière et le jeûne ».
