Belgique – Les immigrés illégaux semblent apprécier l’air de la côte. A Zeebrugge, près de 700 immigrés illégaux ont été interpellés en peu de temps et 400 dans les environs de Furnes.

« Tout le monde est sur les dents, la police locale, la police maritime… Nos équipes travaillent jour et nuit.  Si nous relâchons notre attention quelques jours, nous nous retrouverons dans peu de temps avec un campement comme à Calais et à Dunkerque« , a averti le gouverneur de Flandre occidentale Carl Decaluwé.

Les autorités locales demandent le renfort de 40 policiers et la mise à disposition d’un centre mobile pour enregistrer les personnes en séjour illégal interpellées. On peut légitimement douter que cela suffise à ralentir l’afflux d’immigrés.
