Kjell Frølich Benjaminsen, 63 ans, et Erik Skjelnæs, 70 ans sont passés devant le pasteur femme Bettina Eckbo qui a commenté :
« Cela a été splendide, amusant et très spécial d’y participer. Ils représentent toutes les valeurs du mariage : fidélité et support mutuel dans les bons comme les mauvais jours. » « Ils ont traversé une bonne partie de l’histoire des homosexuels en Norvège. Quand ils se sont mis ensemble, en 1981, cela devait leur sembler inimaginable d’envisager pouvoir un jour se marier à l’église. »
Et il y en a un au Vatican qui soutient mordicus que ce qui unit catholiques et luthériens est plus important que ce qui les divise…
