Cette jeune nigériane d’une douzaine d’année s’est fait exploser samedi à Damaturu dans le nord-est du pays causant 7 morts et près de 30 blessés. Elle a en fait dissimulé des explosifs sous son voile dans une gare routière et a actionné la bombe pendant que les passagers, transporteurs et autres commerçants affluaient.
« J’étais dans la gare routière quand j’ai vu la jeune fille arriver », a déclaré Musbahu Lawan à l’AFP, un chauffeur de bus. « Je crois qu’elle a remarqué les gardes qui contrôlaient les gens au niveau des grilles et elle a décidé de déclencher des explosifs au milieu de la foule devant les grilles », a-t-il ajouté.
« Le chemin menant aux grilles est toujours rempli de marchands (…) j’ai eu de la chance de ne pas avoir été touché », a témoigné M. Nguru.
Cette attaque qui n’as pas encore été revendiquée, porte tout de même les empreintes de la secte islamiste Boko Haram et intervient au moment où cette secte revendique la prise de la ville stratégique de Marte au nord est du Nigeria.
De plus Boko Haram a souvent l’habitude d’utiliser des femmes kamikazes pour perpétrer ses forfaits.
