Cette attaque, attribuée à Aqmi, a eu lieu ce jeudi 17 mars à l’ouest du pays à proximité de la frontière avec le Burkina-Faso causant la mort de trois gendarmes tandis qu’un militaire périssait à Bosso dans un autre attentat à l’est du pays, attentat attribué à la secte islamique Boko haram, a précisé le ministère nigérien de l’intérieur, Hassimi Massaoudou.
Les trois gendarmes ont été tués par les assaillants d’aqmi qui étaient à bord des motos et d’un 4×4. Une fois le forfait commis, ils ont pris la fuite avec les armes des gendarmes et sont repartis avec leurs blessés, precise Hassimi Massasoudou.
A propos de l’attaque de Bosso, elle est l’œuvre de cinq kamikazes, deux jeunes hommes et trois adolescentes venus du Nigeria, tous abattus, mais trois militaires nigériens ont reçu des eclats de bombes et l’un d’eux a succombé de ses blessures.
