Le journaliste Nicolas Demorand recevait sur France Inter le 18 mai l’ancien président Nicolas Sarkozy.
Au cours de l’émission, celui-ci a regretté la facilité avec laquelle l’immigration déferle sur l’Europe. Nicolas Sarkozy n’a pas reconnu un seul instant qu’il en était l’un des responsables, avec son ami Bernard-Henri Lévy.
Au contraire, il a déclaré :
« On peut se poser la question de l’intervention en Afghanistan, même celle au Koweït sous Mitterrand, mais on ne peut pas ne pas intervenir en Libye et en Syrie. La Méditerranée, désolé de le dire, c’est un peu notre banlieue.«
