C’est dans le quartier du Bronx à New York, lundi soir, que deux policiers ont été blessés par balle. Les deux agents avaient été appelés pour un vol.
Un officier a été touché au bas de son dos, et subissait une intervention chirurgicale ce mardi matin. L’autre victime a été touchée à la poitrine et au bras mais son état de santé est stable.
Les officiers avaient été appelés avec trois collègues pour un cambriolage dans une épicerie. Deux voleurs ont rapidement commencé à tirer sur les agents.
Les deux auteurs ont réussi à s’échapper avec une voiture volée qui a ensuite été retrouvée abandonnée. Les deux hommes sont toujours en fuite.
Le 20 décembre, deux officiers de police avaient été tués à New York par un militant des Black Guerrilla Family .
