Maurice Meulliet, candidat du PG à Périgueux pour les municipales, a eu le malheur d’aller prendre un verre avec Yves Guéna, 91 ans, ancien ministre gaulliste et ancien maire UMP de Périgueux, qui plus est dans la permanence du candidat divers droite à la mairie, Jean-Paul Daudou. Il s’est vu retirer son investiture:« Le Parti de Gauche n’accepte aucune collusion ou arrangement, de quelque sorte que ce soit, avec la droite à Périgueux comme ailleurs dans le pays » a déclaré Martine Billard co-présidente du PG. Le pauvre Maurice Meulliet n’y a rien compris:« Yves Guéna, je le connais depuis trente ans, on n’a pas les mêmes idées politiques mais on a les mêmes valeurs! Est-ce qu’on a le droit quand on est à droite d’avoir des amis à gauche et quand on est à gauche d’avoir des amis à droite? On a affaire à des individus qui ne comprennent pas l’amitié. » C’est ça la fraternité de la République !
