En politique, retourner sa veste est tout un art qu’un bon carriériste apprend très tôt. Lucas Elalouf, 28 ans, en est un nouvel exemple.
Ce jeune homme « issu de la diversité » sentait son heure venue à l’approche des élections municipales et convoitait une place intéressante dans le XVIIIe arrondissement de Paris.
Il avait donc écrit à la section socialiste de l’arrondissement en question.
« J’ai adhéré au PS à 19 ans. Le PS, c’est l’engagement de toute ma jeunesse. J’ai été secrétaire de section durant quatre années, dans des moments qui n’étaient pas des plus simples pour le PS (…) »
Avant de terminer par un vigoureux : « Je suis prêt. »
La section socialiste, après réflexion, le désignait alors en 13e position de sa liste.
Or, le 28 novembre, à une heure de l’investiture officielle de cette liste socialiste, Lucas Elalouf retirait sa candidature.
Et pour cause. Ce jeune homme de conviction avait simultanément proposé ses services à Anne Hidalgo, Gaspard Gantzer, Benjamin Griveaux et Cédric Villani, attendant tout simplement la meilleure offre. Qui est venue du candidat macroniste dissident Cédric Villani.
Lucas Elalouf sera donc chef de file dans le XVIIIe arrondissement, sous les couleurs de l’original Villani.
C’est beau de se battre pour des idées…
