Vincent Lambert est mort : un assassinat déguisé
Vincent Lambert s’est donc éteint aujourd’hui, à l’âge de 42 ans au Centre hospitalier universitaire de Reims.
Lourdement handicapé à la suite d’un accident de la route survenu en 2008, la justice des hommes et une médecine oublieuse du serment d’Hippocrate ont estimé que sa vie ne valait plus rien, et que lui prodiguer les soins les plus élémentaires – l’alimentation et l’hydratation – constituait une obstination déraisonnable, autrement dit un acharnement thérapeutique.
Malgré de nombreuses démarches et un combat héroïque avec leurs avocats, les parents de Vincent Lambert pleurent aujourd’hui leur fils, victime d’une euthanasie active, véritable assassinat déguisé.
« La mort de Vincent (…) lui a été imposée à lui comme à nous. (…) Nous ne pouvons que nous résigner dans la douleur, l’incompréhension, mais aussi dans l’Espérance », écrivaient-ils peu avant cette mort.
Donnez-lui Seigneur le repos éternel, et que votre lumière luise à jamais sur lui.
