A peine couronnée Miss France 2018, Maëva Coucke est déjà au centre d’une controverse et accusée de racisme. N’allez pourtant pas imaginer qu’elle a tenu le moindre propos sur l’immigration ou sur ses orientations politiques.
Non, si Maëva Coucke subit une vague d’attaques idiotes, c’est simplement parce que lors d’une épreuve du concours, invitée à défendre ses propres atouts au micro de Jean-Pierre Foucault, celle qui n’était encore que Miss Pas-de-Calais a déclaré : «Après une blonde, une brune, une miss à la crinière de lionne, pourquoi pas une rousse ?»
En parlant de «crinière de lionne», Maëva Coucke faisait référence à la coiffure initiale de Miss France 2017, Alicia Aylies, originaire de Guyane.
Il n’en fallait pas plus pour que des centaines de personnes complexées évoquent sur les réseaux sociaux «du racisme « en douce » français».
Une polémique d’autant plus ridicule que l’expression de « crinière de lionne » est courante dans le monde de la coiffure.
