Cela faisait longtemps qu’on n’avait pas entendu la vedette internationale de la variété française, Mireille Mathieu, se faire interroger par un média. Quand on écoute cette Avignonnaise née sous les remparts du Palais des Papes, on comprend pourquoi, même si elle emploie un langage candide désuet qui devrait plaire: elle a gardé l’amour et le respect du Bon Dieu, la vénération de ses parents, de la France, des traditions et en outre, elle aime la Russie, ce qui était bien vu du temps de l’URSS, mais ne l’est plus dans la Russie qui a rompu avec le communisme:
Mireille Mathieu a fêté son 70e anniversaire le 22 juillet 2016 et Vladimir Poutine lui a envoyé un message de sympathie à cette occasion. La chanteuse qu’on ne voit plus en France a été invitée pour représenter la France au Festival international de musique militaire « Tour Spasskaïa », qui se déroule actuellement à Moscou, comme en 2012 où elle avait été accompagnée par l’orchestre de l’Arme blindée et de la Cavalerie française. (Photo ci-dessus). C’est la 9è fois qu’elle se rend en Russie.
L’armée française est régulièrement représentée lors de ce festival dont la première date de 2009.
