Sur BFM TV, le frère trois points Jean-Luc Mélenchon a exprimé son allergie aux églises. « Pour les funérailles nationales, il y en a marre d’aller dans les églises », a-t-il déclaré.
Si Jean-Luc Mélenchon, en héritier assumé de la Terreur, est de ces politiciens foncièrement hostiles au christianisme, il faut noter que son propos n’est pas totalement dénué de sens. Il est en effet absurde et contraire à la doctrine traditionnelle de l’Eglise d’accorder des funérailles catholiques à des personnages dont la vie publique est notoirement en contradiction avec les enseignements de l’Eglise. Ainsi, un déviant sexuel ne doit pas avoir droit à des funérailles catholiques. De même pour un politicien complice des lois mortifères (avortement, euthanasie). Ce qui signifie que Jacques Chirac, par exemple, n’avait pas droit à des funérailles catholiques.
Quant à Jean-Luc Mélenchon, son appartenance à la franc-maçonnerie (il est membre du Grand Orient de France) l’exclut de facto de la possibilité de recevoir des funérailles catholiques…
