Mel Gibson a confirmé qu’il préparait un film sur la résurrection du Christ.
Lors du SoCal Harvest, un festival culturel chrétien, Mel Gibson a répondu à quelques questions de l’animateur devant un public conquis. « C’est un très gros sujet et il doit être examiné parce que nous ne voulons pas simplement le représenter. Je veux dire, nous pouvons tous lire ce qui s’est passé. »
Mel Gibson a remercié le public pour son soutien lors de la sortie du film « La Passion ». « Quand j’ai fait ce film, j’ai été littéralement couvert de goudron », a-t-il rappelé. On se souvient en effet que Mel Gibson avait dû affronter une gigantesque campagne de dénigrement orchestrée par des associations juives qui ont tout tenté pour empêcher l’arrivée de ce film dans les salles de cinéma.
Mel Gibson avait mobilisé tous les réseaux chrétiens à travers l’Amérique et l’Europe pour contourner les innombrables pièges tendus par des milieux qui haïssent Jésus-Christ.
Le film avait été un énorme succès et un véritable outil d’apostolat entraînant de nombreuses conversions.
Et comme à l’époque du tournage de « La Passion », la simple annonce des préparatifs de ce film sur la Résurrection du Christ suscite déjà des articles hostiles dans divers médias juifs.
