Marine Le Pen n’a rien de catholique. Si Jean-Marie maintenait la couche de vernis le plus acceptablement possible, si Marion donne des garanties non pas de pleine rectitude catholique mais du moins du minimum syndical – ce qui est déjà beaucoup pour une politicienne – Marion-Perrine « Marine », elle, en bonne républicaine, se moque du tiers comme du quart, accrochée à son époque comme une moule sur son rocher.
Dans son numéro du 11 octobre, l’hebdomadaire patriote Minute révèle dans son excellente rubrique Chuts FN ! que lors de la journée des élus du Front National le dimanche 1er octobre, alors que le début des travaux était fixé à 10 heures, une trentaine de participant sont arrivés un bon quart d’heure en retard. Aussitôt suspectés de s’être d’abord réunis en un autre lieu pour y comploter, ils ont dû faire savoir que non, ils étaient simplement allés… à la messe ! Ce qui leur a valu un peu plus tard d’être moqués par Marine Le Pen : « Alors la secte ? On n’a pas pu s’empêcher ? » »
Rappelons qu’elle n’est pas novice en la matière… Le 18 décembre 2014, l’hebdomadaire néo-conservateur Valeurs Actuelles avait rapporté les propos tenus ou du moins couverts par la présidente lors de la réunion du 10 décembre, intronisant la nomination de Sébastien Chenu comme délégué à la culture (MPI en avait parlé en son temps) : « cathos de merde ».
