Les grands donneurs de leçons de morale bannissent la torture en tout temps et en tout lieux, vous savez, ces mêmes moralistes qui refusent que l’on touche aux cheveux d’un terroriste qui a caché une bombe dans un restaurant ou dans une bouche de métro, mais qui promeuvent l’avortement et l’euthanasie à grands renforts de propagande mensongère : ils sont pro vie pour les assassins et pro mort pour les innocents.
Les Etats-Unis en sont les premiers exemples ! Comme dans toute chose, ces choses délicates ne doivent pas être traitées par des grands poncifs généraux, mais doivent être examinées au cas par cas, avec énormément de prudence et dans l’exigence d’une morale sûre ; et s’il est bien vrai hélas, que la torture a fait l’objet d’abus inadmissibles, cela ne remet pas en cause sa légitimité dans certains cas.
