Tous les médias, même dans nos pays voisins, en font un nouveau feuilleton : ce jeudi matin, Emmanuel Macron a été testé positif Covid-19.
Attardons-nous un peu sur les éléments fournis par Le Point. Il nous est dit à cette occasion que hier, mercredi, en soirée, Emmanuel Macron recevait à l’Elysée une dizaine de personnes pour un « dîner politique ». Dîner qui s’est terminé à minuit et demi.
Rien d’exceptionnel, me direz-vous.
A ceci près que les Français moyens, eux,
. ne peuvent plus se rendre au restaurant
. sont priés de se limiter à six convives à Noël
. ont l’obligation de respecter un couvre-feu à partir de 20h.
Le président de l’Assemblée nationale Richard Ferrand faisait partie de la dizaine de participants au dîner à l’Elysée hier soir. Il est donc invité à se mettre en quarantaine dès aujourd’hui.
Savourons cette courte séquence enregistrée par France Inter. Elle date du 29 octobre 2020. Richard Ferrand y déclarait : « Si on est malade c’est qu’on n’aura pas fait aussi attention que nécessaire ».

La santé de Macron suscite naturellement beaucoup de commentaires. Ses collègues politiques européens lui souhaitent un prompt rétablissement. D’autant plus que comme se tenait lundi à l’Elysée une rencontre pour les 60 ans de l’OCDE, les mises en quarantaine se suivent comme une traînée de poudre, du Premier ministre espagnol au Premier ministre belge…
