Ce samedi matin, à l’occasion d’un mariage au sein de la communauté turque à Mâcon, un immense drapeau turc a été déroulé sur le parvis de l’église Saint-Pierre, suscitant l’indignation et la colère de nombreux catholiques et d’habitants du quartier.
« Nous sommes scandalisés », déclarent des habitants qui expliquent que ce déploiement de drapeaux turcs est fréquent lors de mariages dans le quartier et ont déjà interpellé les élus locaux pour obtenir que ces mariages respectent les règles de notre pays.
Des catholiques ont également témoigné leur mécontentement en voyant un drapeau d’un pays islamique envahit le parvis d’une église catholique.
