Lyon Mag rapporte la réunion du comité syndical de ce jeudi de Sytral, le Syndicat Mixte des Transports pour le Rhône et l’Agglomération Lyonnaise et l’autorité organisatrice des transports urbains exploités sous les marques TCL et Optibus, qui est revenu sur les nombreuses casses consécutives aux matchs de l’Algérie au Mondial de football.
A la demande du député-maire UMP de Caluire, Philippe Cochet, le président du Sytral Bernard Rivalta a reconnu qu’il avait déjà lancé un recensement des coûts pour le syndicat des transports en commun. « On va arriver à des montants non négligeables. Ce sont essentiellement des bris de glace mais un abribus, ca coûte cher », tempête Bernard Rivalta qui disposera des chiffres définitifs prochainement mais qui ne les communiquera qu’en privé aux élus du Sytral.
Il est également revenu sur sa décision spontanée de fermer le réseau plus tôt pour éviter la convergence de casseurs vers le centre-ville. Une décision motivée par la préfecture et qu’il a prise depuis l’Indonésie où il se trouvait. « Je me faisais réveiller toutes les demi-heures. On n’a pas voulu organiser un arrêt programmé du réseau parce que je ne souhaitais pas donner satisfaction aux casseurs, qui se seraient organisés autrement de toute manière », conclut le président du Sytral.
