Du 27 février au 5 mars, l’Union des Etudiants Juifs de France (UEJF) et SOS Racisme ont emmené en Israël des responsables d’associations de quartiers de Sarcelles, Argenteuil, Tremblay, Gennevilliers et Villeneuve-la-Garenne. Officiellement, il s’agissait de les former à la médiation interculturelle avec l’association Beit Esther d’Henri Cohen-Solal.
Sacha Reindewirtz, président de l’UEJF, et Dominique Sopo, président de SOS Racisme, étaient du voyage.
A son retour en France, Abdel Eit Omar, fondateur de l’association Education et Citoyenneté par le Dialogue (ECD), association de quartier de Villeneuve-la-Garenne, a annoncé son intention d’organiser un voyage en Israël avec une cinquantaine de jeunes des quartiers.
