Pour madame Badinter et les tenants de la théorie du gender, l’instinct maternel n’existe pas. Ce serait une construction artificielle liée à « l’apport culturel » de la société ayant déterminé arbitrairement qu’une fille devait être élevée comme une fille. Cette théorie se voit infirmée une fois de plus par la science.

Ce procédé radiologique permet de localiser dans le cerveau toutes les régions qui réagissent à la raison et aux sentiments. Il permet de descendre au niveau microscopique et ainsi se mettent en place progressivement des véritables dictionnaires de la pensée. Prenons un exemple. Si on montre une image de pédophile à un pédophile, un groupe de neurones du cerveau va s’éclairer. Une personne normale sera révulsée par ces images et un autre groupe de cellules s’éclairera. Idem pour un film d’épouvante.
C’est à une expérience très curieuse que se sont livrés des chercheurs de Montréal. Instinctivement la maman a besoin de câliner son nouveau-né : un réseau de neurones s’allume à l’IRM quand elle le prend dans ses bras pour l’embrasser. Cela lui fait plaisir. Or, c’est le même réseau qui s’allume : c’est un endroit du cerveau très ciblé qui ne peut pas être retrouvé pour d’autres odeurs. Le plus étonnant est que la femme venant d’accoucher voit ce signal prendre une très grande intensité. Sauf erreur de notre part, nous n’avons jamais vu à ce jour un homme accoucher. Cette réaction est bien propre à la femme. Elle fait partie de l’instinct maternel. L’instinct paternel sera de toute autre nature dans sa localisation cérébrale.
