La Hongrie annonce avoir réduit l’immigration clandestine de plus de 99% depuis l’installation de clôtures frontalières renforcées destinées à stopper l’intrusion des immigrés illégaux sur son territoire.
Dans un discours prononcé à l’occasion du deuxième anniversaire de la construction de ce mur séparant la frontière de la Hongrie avec la Serbie – qui est aussi une frontière extérieure pour l’Union européenne – le conseiller principal à la sécurité du Premier ministre Viktor Orbán, György Bakondi, a annoncé que les clôtures ont provoqué un effondrement de l’immigration clandestine.
En 2015, 391.384 entrées clandestines sur le territoire national avaient été recensées. En 2016, le nombre est tombé à 18.236. Les premiers chiffres de l’année 2017 sont les suivants : 1.184 entrées illégales recensées, 7.300 tentatives empêchées, 4.500 interceptions et 2.800 renvois immédiats à la frontière.
« Le système des clôtures infranchissables est la clé du succès de la sécurité aux frontières, et sans elles, il serait impossible d’arrêter l’arrivée massive d’immigrés », a expliqué le responsable de la sécurité.
Un exemple simple mais efficace qu’il faudrait copier très largement.
