L’Eurobarometer 471 d’avril 2018 donne la perception des divers pays de l’Union Européenne à la question : « Je pense que l’immigration dans mon pays est une bonne chose », la réponse « oui » est minoritaire (entre parenthèse, lieu d’origine de la première communauté immigrée du pays) :
- Plus de 60 % de oui : Irlande (Royaume-Uni), Luxembourg (Portugal), Suède (Finlande).
- Plus de 50 % de oui : Portugal (Angola), Royaume-Uni (Pologne).
- Plus de 40 % de oui : Allemagne (Turquie), Danemark (Allemagne), Espagne (Maroc), Finlande (Estonie) et Pays-Bas (Turquie).
- Plus de 30 % de oui : Autriche (Allemagne), Belgique (Italie), France (Algérie), Lituanie (Russie), Pologne (Ukraine) et Slovénie (Bosnie-Herzégovine).
- Plus de 20 % de oui : Croatie (Bosnie-Herzégovine), Italie (Roumanie) et Malte (Royaume-Uni).
- Plus de 10 % de oui : Bulgarie (Russie), Chypre (Turquie), Estonie (Russie), Hongrie (Roumanie), Lettonie (Russie), Roumanie (Moldavie), Slovaquie (Tchéquie) et Tchéquie (Ukraine).
- Moins de 10 % de oui : Grèce (Albanie).
