L’affaire de la croix effacée d’une photo d’une église illustrant des produits vendus par les magasins Lidl mérite que l’on s’y attarde.
Quelques minutes de recherches suffisent à prouver que lorsque le porte-parole de Lidl déclare « Nous évitons l’utilisation de symboles religieux car nous ne souhaitons exclure aucune croyance religieuse», il se moque du monde.
A l’approche du ramadan, Lidl ne manque jamais d’émettre un catalogue vantant les saveurs d’Orient, avec des produits certifiés halal, un certificat… religieux.
On y trouve alors des allusions explicites au ramadan. Et le ramadan est bien religieux.
Bref, pour en revenir à la croix effacée des emballages des produits grecs vendus par Lidl, il apparaît plus que probable que c’est pour ne pas effaroucher sa clientèle musulmane établie… chez nous.
