Des représentants des chrétiens libanais ont remis au patriarche Béchara Raï un rapport chiffré et documenté intitulé « 32 millions de mètres carrés de terres chrétiennes mis en vente ». Ce rapport dénonce les abus et empiétements sur des terrains appartenant à des chrétiens. Le patriarche a promis de porter le dossier au président Michel Sleiman. On rapporte que les chrétiens auraient perdu quelque 40% de leurs propriétés.
Par ailleurs, une délégation des institutions maronites a remis au président de l’Assemblée, Nabih Berry, une étude sur l’état de l’Administration publique qui démontre l’existence d’un plan visant à en exclure les chrétiens. Nabih Berry, président de l’Assemblée, s’est engagé auprès de cette délégation à agir afin que l’équilibre communautaire soit respecté.
