Suisse – Par 17 voix contre 6, la commission des institutions politiques du National propose au plénum d’adopter un projet visant à faciliter la naturalisation du « partenaire » étranger d’un homosexuel suisse « pacsé ».
Il s’agit d’une initiative parlementaire conjointe du PS, des Verts, des Vert’libéraux, du PBD et de la libérale-radicale zurichoise Doris Fiala, mais cela nécessite une modification de la constitution car la Confédération ne dispose de la compétence de régler directement l’acquisition et la perte de la nationalité que dans les cas de filiation, de mariage et d’adoption et non pas dans le cas de partenariat enregistré.
L’UDC, le Centre patronal et le canton de Schwytz sont opposés à cette réforme.
La commission des affaires juridiques planche par ailleurs sur un projet de légalisation de mariage entre personnes de même sexe. Le Conseil fédéral a quant à lui évoqué dans un rapport la création d’un mariage « light » qui serait inspiré du pacs français et devrait simplifier sur le plan juridique les affaires de vie courante et la vie commune des partenaires.
Le Parlement est aussi appelé à se prononcer sur un projet permettant aux duos homosexuels de pouvoir adopter, mais uniquement les enfants des partenaires.
