Israël – Le ministère de l’Intérieur israélien a publié un communiqué annonçant que les « conjoints non juifs d’homosexuels juifs » peuvent désormais accéder à la nationalité israélienne. «Le conjoint du même sexe d’une personne éligible à la loi du retour et qui ne vit pas en Israël pourra aussi devenir israélien», a annoncé le ministère dans un communiqué, précisant que cette mesure ne s’appliquait qu’aux duos homosexuels mariés.
Israël est considéré comme un pays pionnier en matière de promotion des revendications des homosexuels, notamment en terme d’adoption pour duos homosexuels.
«La décision du ministre de l’Intérieur est atroce, outrageuse et anti-juive, une étape supplémentaire dans la campagne menée en Israël contre la religion», a réagi dans un communiqué Nissim Zeev, député du parti ultra-orthodoxe Shass qui y voit «la dangereuse institutionnalisation du phénomène des familles homosexuelles en Israël».
