L’hérétique Martin Luther aura une place à son nom au cœur de Rome. La capitale italienne a finalement approuvé l’initiative proposée il y a six ans par des églises adventistes.

p style= »text-align: justify; »>La «Piazza Martin Luther » sera très proche du Colisée, dans le Parco Del Colle Oppio et le long de la Via Fortunato Mizzi. Il a été convenu que la plaque signalétique aura une description très neutre « Martin Luther Square. Théologien allemand « .
Le 16 septembre, à 17 heures, aura lieu la cérémonie.

p style= »text-align: justify; »>La décision de la mairie est « hautement symbolique« , explique le représentant évangélique parce que «Rome était la capitale des États pontificaux qui sont tombés le 20 septembre 1870, anniversaire qui se célèbrera seulement quatre jours après la consécration de la Place Martin Luther« .
L’inauguration sera suivie par des représentants de différentes églises évangéliques, et d’une délégation de l’Alliance Evangélique italienne. Il n’a pas été confirmé à ce jour la participation de représentants catholiques, mais les médias italiens qui ont rapporté le sujet assure que le Saint-Siège a été consulté avant l’approbation de l’initiative.
