Anna Gichkina, présidente du cercle de réflexion franco-russe « Cercle du Bon Sens, docteur ès lettres, auteur de nombreux articles sur des sujets russes et européens, vient de publier son deuxième livre.
Cette jeune femme russe installée en France dresse un constat : l’Europe en général et la France en particulier ont renié leurs vocations chrétiennes et civilisationnelles ; tandis que la Russie célèbre à nouveau sa foi et son histoire. A partir de là naît une profonde incompréhension réciproque entre l’Europe et la Russie.
En quelques pages, Anna Gichkina explique qu’en Occident, le Temps a pris le dessus sur l’Eternité. L’Europe, en rejetant son héritage chrétien, a choisi de promouvoir l’idéologie humaniste comme religion mondiale, défendant à la fois la culture de mort et la promesse de vie illimitée par l’intermédiaire du transhumanisme du futur.
A l’inverse, la Russie considère à nouveau que l’Eternité doit prendre le dessus sur le Temps. Eprise de littérature, Anna Gichkina souligne que la littérature russe est gardienne de l’Evangile et peut être le remède au vide européen.
