Hier, sur les réseaux sociaux et sur quelques sites catholiques, la nouvelle enflammait les patriotes : l’étendard de la statue équestre de Sainte Jeanne d’Arc, située place des Pyramides à Paris, avait disparu. Certains craignaient déjà une nouvelle profanation. Sur cet étendard figurent notamment les noms de Jésus et de Marie.

Fort heureusement, l’explication est plus rassurante : l’étendard est en réparation.
La Direction Régionale des affaires culturelles d’Ile-de-France (DRAC) explique que l’étendard menaçait de tomber et a donc été retiré provisoirement. Selon la DRAC, celui-ci sera bien remis dans les meilleurs délais sitôt la restauration terminée.
