Le viol systématique des femmes et des jeunes filles yézidis ainsi que des chrétiennes est profondément enraciné dans la structure et l’organisation de l’Etat islamique. La vente d’esclaves sexuelles est règlementée de façon officielle par l’organisation djihadiste.
Le New York Times a interrogé 21 femmes et jeunes filles qui ont réussi à échapper aux mains des combattants de l’Etat Islamique et analysé la façon dont ces combattants justifient le viol. Le récit est épouvantable.
Une fillette yézidie de 12 ans décrit comment un combattant de l’Etat Islamique l’a violée. Le djihadiste a d’abord pris le temps pour expliquer à sa petite victime que ce qu’il allait faire n’est pas un péché. « Le Coran non seulement lui donne le droit de me violer« , a-t-il dit, « mais c’est même encouragé« .
Avant de violer la fillette de 12 ans , l’islamiste avait prié devant le lit. « Il a dit qu’il peut violer une mécréante selon l’Islam. Il a dit que me violer allait le rapprocher de Dieu. »
«Je lui répétais : ça fait mal, s’il vous plaît arrêtez« , dit la jeune fille. Il a baillonné sa bouche et lui a attaché les mains.
Une autre jeune fille yézidie, enlevée à 15 ans, a vécu neuf mois comme une esclave et a été vendue à un djihadiste irakien de 35 ans. Elle raconte une histoire similaire. « Je lui ai dit : « Ce que vous me faites est mal. Dieu vous punira… » Il m’a répondu : « Non, c’est permis, c’est halal …»
Une autre fillette raconte comment, à 12 ans, elle a été violée pendant des jours, malgré des saignements abondants. La femme plus âgée qui l’accompagnait explique qu’elle essayait sans succès de dissuader un djihadiste de violer cette fillette « Je lui ai dit: « C’est encore une petite fille. » Il répondit: « Non, ce n’est pas une petite fille, c’est une esclave, et elle sait exactement comment avoir des relations sexuelles, comme Allah le commande…«
