L’attaque terroriste a eu lieu ce mercredi dans le Sinaï égyptien a annoncé le ministère de l’intérieur et cette attaque a été revendiquée par la branche locale de l’organisation jihadiste Etat islamique.
L’acte macabre s’est passé exactement à Al-Arich, chef-lieu de la province du Nord-Sinaï, « des inconnus à moto ont ouvert le feu sur deux policiers, qui sont morts de leurs blessures », a indiqué le ministère de l’Intérieur dans un communiqué. Les meurtriers ont réussi à prendre la fuite, selon des responsables de la sécurité. Cet acte terroriste a été revendiqué sur Twitter par le groupe islamique. Le groupe a de plus posté des photos de l’attaque et des supposés cadavres des victimes. Pour le gouvernement, des centaines de policiers et soldats ont été tués dans des attaques similaires ou des attentats à la bombe depuis deux ans, dont la grande majorité dans cette péninsule du Sinaï, frontalière avec Israël et le territoire palestinien de la bande de Gaza. Jusqu’à présent, les plus meurtrières de ces attaques visant les forces de l’ordre, dont un certain nombre au Caire, ont été revendiquées par deux groupes jihadistes, dont la branche égyptienne de l’EI rapporte le site d’information medi1tv.com.
