L’Etat islamique tente de négocier – au prix de un million de dollars – les restes de la dépouille du photographe de presse américain James Foley, décapité en Syrie au mois d’août.
Les négociateurs de l’Etat Islamique proposent un transfert des restes du corps à la frontière avec la Turquie. Les djihadistes proposent même de fournir un échantillon d’ADN pour authentifier les restes du corps.
Les intermédiaires de cette macabre négociation ont cependant annoncé que même l’ADN devait se monnayer.
Avec un incroyable culot, l’un de ces négociateurs affirme qu’il veut aider la famille en deuil et décrit sa mission comme « un acte humanitaire. »
Il est pourtant très improbable que l’Etat américain accepte de payer. Les gens se demanderaient pourquoi les Etats-Unis payent pour une dépouille, mais refusent de payer la rançon d’un être vivant.
La famille de Foley a refusé de commenter la transaction proposée.
