L’Etat Islamique a diffusé des images de son implantation au Yémen. La propagande djihadiste a utilisé tous ses réseaux pour faire savoir que l’Etat Islamique s’est implanté près de Sanaa et d’Aden, deux villes importantes du Yémen. L’Etat Islamique a ouvert un hôpital islamiste ainsi qu’un camp d’entraînement.
Une telle implantation de l’Etat Islamique a été rendue possible grâce aux bombardements du Yémen organisés par la coalition militaire dirigée par l’Arabie Saoudite avec l’approbation des Etats-Unis.
