Selon les services de renseignements italiens, la menace est à prendre au sérieux. En cas d’intervention militaire de l’Italie (et d’autres pays européens à sa suite) en Libye, l’Etat Islamique promet de tout faire pour favoriser le départ d’un demi-million de migrants vers les côtes européennes.
Les bateaux-poubelles, pleins à craquer de migrants, qui se succèdent jour après jour, notamment vers Lampedusa, constituent déjà un défi majeur pour l’Italie. Si l’Etat Islamique devait renforcer cette vague migratoire en donnant les moyens à des centaines de milliers de personnes d’embarquer sur des bateaux et canots, l’Europe se trouverait face à une incroyable flotte d’immigrés rappelant avec effroi le scénario du Camp des Saints de Jean Raspail.
