Espagne – Six civils et un policier ont été blessés tôt vendredi par une seconde attaque terroriste. Cette fois encore, un véhicule a foncé sur des passants. Les faits se sont déroulés à Cambrils, une station balnéaire de Catalogne.
Les cinq occupants du véhicule assaillant portaient de fausses ceintures d’explosifs. Ils ont été abattus par la police.
« Les terroristes présumés circulaient dans une Audi A3 et ont apparemment renversé plusieurs personnes avant de se heurter à une patrouille des Mossos d’Esquadra et la fusillade a commencé », a annoncé un porte-parole du gouvernement régional.
Cette seconde attaque survenait quelques heures après un attentat jeudi après-midi à Barcelone – revendiqué par l’Etat Islamique – dont le bilan actuel est de 13 morts et une cinquantaine de blessés parfois encore entre la vie et la mort. Parmi les victimes figurent de nombreux touristes de diverses nationalités, dont beaucoup de Français.
Le conducteur de la camionnette meurtrière de Barcelone est toujours en fuite. Deux suspects ont été arrêtés dans deux autres localités de Catalogne, un Marocain du nom de Driss Oukabir et un autre individu arrêté après l’explosion d’une maison dont les occupants préparaient apparemment un engin explosif selon la police.
