Le Parisien rapporte encore une nouvelle nuit agitée qu’ont dû subir les habitants d’Argenteuil. Peu avant 0h30, des « jeunes », moins nombreux que les soirs des dimanche 13 et lundi 14 juillet, se sont réunis sur la Dalle. Des tirs de mortiers ont été alors entendus et des poubelles ont été brûlées avec des fumigènes.
Excédés, des habitants et des commerçants du coin sont allés à la rencontre des « jeunes » pour tenter de les calmer. En vain. Selon un riverain, « ils ont été insultés et ont été la cible d’un tir de mortier, sans faire de blessés ». Un groupe d’habitants, rassemblé devant un immeuble, songe à entreprendre des actions si ces débordements se poursuivent. Pour certains, c’est du jamais vu. Pour la police, la nuit a été plutôt calme avec seulement un feu de poubelle.
La presse continue de faire silence sur ces événements qui montrent comment certains jeunes de banlieues agissent en toute impunité !
