Il ne s’agit évidemment pas de François Hollande, mais bien de Vladimir Poutine. Si l’élection présidentielle avait lieu dimanche prochain, l’actuel chef de l’Etat russe serait réélu au premier tour avec pas moins de 68 % des voix, selon un sondage[1] effectué par le centre Levada, organisme étiqueté proche de l’opposition anti-Poutine. Un an auparavant, en décembre 2012, Vladimir Poutine était crédité de 58 % des votes.
Le plus proche concurrent du président en place, Guennadi Ziouganov (Parti communiste), obtiendrait 11 % des voix tandis que Vladimir Jirinovski (Parti libéral-démocrate) n’emporterait l’adhésion que de 7 % de ses concitoyens et le milliardaire Mikhaïl Prokhorov (Plate-forme civique) seulement 4 %.
Le sondage du centre Levada nous enseigne aussi qu’en cas d’élections législatives, le parti Russie unie, présidé par Dmitri Medvedev, remporterait 55 % des suffrages, le Parti communiste 19 %, le Parti libéral-démocrate 10 % et la Plate-forme civique 6 %.
Au pouvoir comme président ou premier ministre depuis 15 ans, Vladimir Poutine bénéficie plus que jamais de la confiance de son peuple. Il est vrai que son bilan politique, économique, social et sécuritaire est autrement plus séduisant que celui d’un François Hollande à la cote de popularité totalement laminée après même pas la moitié d’un mandat.
