Les primes sont décidément au cœur de ce Mondial et on n’en aura jamais autant parlé. Ce sont des propos rapportés par un journaliste. Selon ce journaliste jordanien, Waleed Abu Nada, l’attaquant Slimani lui aurait confié offrir les primes à la population de Gaza qui en a plus besoin.En outre, Slimani aurait refusé tous les cadeaux offerts par des pays arabes pour sa performance au Mondial, leur conseillant d’offrir leur générosité au peuple palestinien. Pour d’autres, il s’agirait plutôt de gestes individuels. On a d’ailleurs pu voir un drapeau palestinien lors de la parade des joueurs algériens dans les rues d’Alger.
