Alessandra Ghisleri est considérée la reine des sondages en Italie. Employée d’un plus importants instituts de sondages italiens, elle a une vision assez globale des changements de mentalité de ses concitoyens sur les problèmes d’actualité, notamment l’Islam et le terrorisme.
Interrogée par le Libero quotidiano it. sur les raisons de ces changements qu’elle perçoit, voici sa réponse qui donne une indication du ras-le-bol des péninsulaires :
« Les attentas de Paris et les femmes molestées par des bandes de musulmans à Cologne. Le Bataclan nous a fait comprendre que nous sommes tous vulnérables : au bar, dans le métro. Cela a changé l’approche envers le terrorisme islamique plus que les vidéos de décapitation. »
A la question vis-à-vis des femmes de Cologne, elle répond fermement :
« Ces violences ont révélé, même aux plus favorables, les difficultés de l’intégration. Avant la défiance vis-à-vis de l’immigré était liée à la criminalité ou au travail, maintenant les Italiens ont peur d’être soumis, malmenés dans leurs habitudes et leur identité. Tout part de la vie quotidienne : les odeurs différentes de nourriture, le voile, la peur d’exhiber une croix, les écoles qui ne font plus la crèche, le fait de ne plus pouvoir donner la main à la voisine musulmane parce qu’on est considéré impur. On craint que la liberté que nous concédons ne nous soit pas retournée, mais même qu’elle nous frappe comme un boomerang. »
