Les Gilets Jaunes ne sont pas simplement opposés au racket fiscal. De plus en plus, ils affichent une conscience politique plus large, avec une véritable défiance à l’égard des médias du système. Et BFM TV est particulièrement dans le collimateur.
Une manifestation de Gilets Jaunes a même été organisée devant le siège de BFM TV. Les slogans « BFM menteurs » et « BFM traître » ont émaillé la soirée.

Et le phénomène s’observe sur différents lieux de rassemblement des Gilets Jaunes où les journalistes de BFM TV sont fréquemment pris à partie et insultés, voire chassés.
En Belgique, les Gilets Jaunes se montrent également de plus en plus hostiles aux médias du système. Cette nuit, à Feluy, une voiture de la RTBF, radio-télévision francophone d’Etat, a été caillassée et les journalistes ont été contraints de prendre la fuite.
