Selon les informations de Metronews, l’un des deux égorgeurs du prêtre de l’église de Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, ce mardi 16 juillet, serait un homme connu de la justice et placé sous bracelet électronique dans le cadre d’une enquête terroriste.
C’est alors que la messe venait tout juste de commencer, que les deux fanatiques de l’Etat Islamique ont fait irruption dans l’église de Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. Selon le témoignage d’une religieuse, ils auraient filmé leur action ignoble.
Le nom d’un des deux djihadistes circule, sur la base d’un témoin qui l’aurait reconnu. Ce nom correspond, selon Metronews, à celui d’un homme qui a voulu se rendre en Syrie en 2015 et qui a été arrêté par les services de police turcs avant d’être remis à la France et d’être incarcéré, en 2015, dans le cadre de cette instruction. Cet individu a ensuite été placé sous bracelet électronique en mars 2016, conformément à une disposition prévue par la loi comme alternative à l’incarcération. Le parquet antiterroriste avait fait appel de cette décision, sans obtenir gain de cause.
L’autre individu serait également connu des services de renseignement.
