Etats-Unis – La fusillade de San Bernardino a fait au moins 14 personnes tuées et 17 autres blessées. Les faits se sont déroulés mercredi au Inland Regional Center, un centre de services sociaux de San Bernardino, en Californie, chargé du traitement de personnes souffrant de troubles du développement.
Les deux auteurs de cette attaque sanglante ont été identifiés. Il s’agit d’un homme dénommé Syed Farook, 28 ans, employé de la ville, et d’une jeune femme de 27 ans, Tashfeen Malik, tous deux musulmans « pieux » selon leur entourage.
Arrivés dans un 4×4 noir, vêtus d’une tenue paramilitaire et armés de fusils d’assaut et d’armes de poing, ils ont pris pour cibles les participants d’un repas de fête.
Les tireurs « avaient préparé leur acte, comme s’ils étaient en mission », a déclaré Jarrod Burguan, le chef de la police locale.
Les deux individus ont été abattus par la police.
